PHENTERMINE
Phentermine is a medication that is used for the treatment of individuals with a BMI over 30 or a BMI over 27 with the presence of other risk factors, such as hypertension. It is a prescription medication that is taken orally. Phentermine is an appetite suppressant that affects the central nervous system. It is similar to an amphetamine and works by stimulating the release of norepinephrine, a neurotransmitter that helps to control appetite. Phentermine is a strong appetite suppressant and when taken with a reduced-calorie diet, it can help people lose between five and ten pounds per month.

- EKG within the last 3 months or order for EKG provided to patient at the patient’s expense.

Is This Prescription Effective for Weight Loss?
Several clinical studies show that phentermine can provide meaningful weight loss.
